ABOUT

ABOUT

Our work is storytelling. We thought it would be easier to label it as such rather than say we shoot primarily in one style or another. We seek to reveal images and stories not seen through a conventional perspective. We believe heavily in the human condition and how it is revealed through an image set against diverse environments. This is why the focus of our work lends itself to fine art portraiture and conceptual imagery. We combine natural light, studio light, textures, abstract composition, and highly visual environments to create truly unique and imaginative works of art. The final product is designed to bring viewers back to the image time and time again.

Our services are available to those who wish to go above and beyond contemporary and conventional imagery. We are happy to book everything from a sitting portrait to an elaborate shoot from our Fable series and The Boudoir Sessions. We have makeup artists, hair stylists, wardrobe specialists, set designers, and pose coaches available to ensure the best shooting experience possible. Photo shoots can be booked at the location (both indoor and outdoor) of your choice or at our studio. Gift certificates are also available for all shoot packages.

We are also driving our services towards more design-based ventures as well. This includes business and product photography, branding and website design, and commissioned artwork for businesses and homes. If you desire your product to tell a story, we can help you make that happen.

Kevin James - Owner & Principal Photographer
I am an internationally and nationally published fine art photographer who specializes in a wealth of styles and themes. Throughout my life, I have always been an artist who dabbled in one medium or another. I sketched super heroes in elementary school, wrote fiction in high school, and was an actual art major for a time in college.

I have gone from embracing photography as a hobby to a serious and profound tool for my artistic expression. There is no single and defining reason why I choose to take photographs, but there is a single and defining reason why I take satisfaction in what I do. It is the challenge I place before myself to create something unique and visionary, creating photographs that become panels in a storyboard.

I am a storyteller who incorporates the human condition into my work as often as possible. One of the most gifted artists I have ever met, said this of my work:

"I mention the light and how you have mastered the ability to make it pour from the center of the souls of your subjects, but I didn't realize that there are stories within the compositions - I'm most humbled and impressed." -Lente Scura
